Condition your hair, then put a nice mousse in your hair. Then put a strong gel (or spray) and brush the ringlets out a little. Your hair should stay wavy.

I have a friend who has natural curls too, i think she's beautiful with it and you probably are too. But if you really want to get it to be wavy, this is what she does. After the shower, she usually doesn't brush her hair but if you want waves you do. You should get a large paddle brush and brush you're wet hair after a shower brush your hair at the same time with a hairdryer to dry it. You get you're hair to not be straight but not curly yet nice waves, you finish with some hairspray gel lightly spritz on your hair and you're done! I'm pretty sure it can work on anybody's curly hair...Hope that helps!

Either use very large or jumbo size hair rollers or use a very large barrel curling iron (you can can these tools at a beauty supply or Sally Beauty supply store). Either of these options should give you the results you are looking for.
