I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

smelled so bad i could smell him from 20 feet away, he was arguing with the cashier that he didnt need a recipt because he wasnt going to return it.

what in wrong with white people

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

There are people of every race that have poor personal hygiene. Don't be racist. It's not healthy.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

hahaha that's funny. i saw a redneck at wal mart yelling about how he wants his kid to get this superman folder because spiderman was girly. it's just funny.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

I think it must have been the red hair!

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

Yeah the white fully evolved civilized person smelled and the black un evolved monkey like black was clean. Good one.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

It wasn't because he was white, it was because he was unclean and possibly ignorant. But maybe you didn't know the whole story? Maybe he just spent the last 8 hours working and absolutely had to get to the store for something important. It happens. We are all better when we don't jump to conclussions and generalize.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

Your question should be, What is wrong with him? just because he's like that doesn't mean that all white folk are like that.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

I don't understand how that has anything to do with being WHITE at all?

-- there are plenty of rude, disgusting people of all races.

I think the more appropriate question should have been ...

"what in wrong with some people"

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

It probably wasn't him...it was your upper lip.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

because we work all day to suport your race, when you sit and watch montel and oprah all day you can keep the same fresh smell all day, but when you work all day you tend to sweat, causing odor.

I was in the store the other day, and this big WHITE guy with red hair?

Grow up and get a grip. Tyrone, I think you better call Tyrone. Nothing is wrong with white people. I know a lot of cool people of all ages and hair color, smells or no smells. Stop being closeminded and ignorant. What is wrong with one-minded racists reprobated perversed people like yourself. God bless you. Our nation needs to be more educated. It is not about the color. How are you going to teach your children not to be prejudiced. Whoever said that color, hair color and smells are stigmatized or stereotypical of white people. Sounds like something your grandparents' grandparents told you. That is the same way that people used to feel about black people.

Color and Smells don't have to coincide.

Color treated hair..HELP with dry scalp, huge flakes???

What shampoo/treatments, or home remedies, can I use, to treat my dry, flaky scalp, that will not strip out the color of my, color treated hair???? I pay a lot of money to get my hair colored every 5 to 6 weeks. I've tried dandruff shampoos, but they strip out my hair color. I have always had dry hair, but I have NOT always had a dry scalp, with huge flakes. It is itchy, but not inflamed or red, just great big patches of my scalp waiting to flake off, (embarrassing), even immediately after washing my hair....in fact, it almost seems worse after I wash my hair. I have tried different shampoos and conditioners, and went to a doctor. He recommended over the counter cortisone cream, applied directly to the scalp a couple of times a week, which did work! BUT!! It stripped out my color, within a couple of weeks and made my hair even more dry and very unappealing. I have asked my hairdresser and many other hairdressers and I can't seem to get an answer. I get lots of answers on what to use for color treated hair, OR what I can use for dry itchy scalp/dandruff, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO AN ANSWER FOR THE COMBINATION, no one has been able to give me an answers. Even the ladies at the beauty supply shops. I am very frustrated. I have resulted to searching this answer on the NET and even, search after search, I still wasn't able to find an answer to this specific question, so I am having to ask it, myself. What can I use that will NOT fade my color treated hair, but treat the problem of dry, itchy, scalp resulting in huge flakes ?"

Color treated hair..HELP with dry scalp, huge flakes???

Your dry scalp may be due to an allergy to the coloring of ur hair. Try using shampoo that comes from natural sources such as those u find in bodyshop which will reduce the contact of more chemical to ur scalp. Use loreal color-vive hair mask to restore the vibrant color bt onli use them at the end of ur hair. Try nt to use it near the root of the hair.

Rinse ur hair well and make sure u dry ur hair before going to bed. Shld be able to help. O/w i wld reccommend to stop coloring ur hair for a period of time 1st.

Color treated hair..HELP with dry scalp, huge flakes???

the flakes mainley come from using bad shampoo or conditioner so if i were you ide wah ur hair with an expensive shampoo then redye ur hair and chower with a shower cap on and spray ur hair with hair scents or something.

Color treated hair..HELP with dry scalp, huge flakes???

Read about apple cider vinegar. Hundreds of sites. Mix with water. 1 cup cider vinegar to 1 cup water. I do not have dandrfuff due to this remedy. I have long beautiful hair and nails. I drink it. 2 tbls. in an 8 oz. glass of water 2 times per day.

Color treated hair..HELP with dry scalp, huge flakes???

Well that steroid ointment can solve many a problem. Flakes are not simple dandruff. I'd suggest a good dermatologist is the answer to your Q. not a hairstylist or us.So do visit a Doc to rule out any problem.

Meanwhile warm some Olive oil and give yourself a good scalp massage. Separate the strands of hair and massage in the oil with a ball of cotton wool. Then take a large towel, hold ends, rinse it out in hot water, ring it out [do take care not to hurt your hands with hot water]and wrap it around like a turban on the head till it cools. Leave it for an hour, then wash it off using a good shampoo.

Repeat it once every week for some time.

Will help.

This does not wash off hair color. I do it. If you see your original color near scalp, it shows hair growth.

It may be anything; allergy to dye or infection. So do see the doc. Wish u luck.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

Many say natural black hair is difficult to manage. Why not get cute afro puffs? Why not use bigger combs, even comb the hair when wet so it's easier to comb, and style it up in cute feminine ways in it's unstraightened state?

Why is womens natural black hair not considered to be as beautiful as straight hair?

Please don't asnwer this with another question without answering this one. thanks.

And forgive me if my question sounds racist or immature, I am not trying to be. Just asking out of curiosity.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

I agree with you. I think more black women should go natural. But like I said in my previous answer, I have OK hair that I just wash and go. I never had to deal with extra thick extra curly hair. My sister has hair like that, and she wears hers in braids, without extensions. I think more black women should do dreads. I love black guys with locks, and black women look just as good with them. I sometimes wish I had more hair so I can braid it, but my hair is fine and not thick. It's not thin either, I just look like I have white people's hair when I try to wear braids, and it messes up to easily.Just remember, the 70s when Afros were popular. They still should be today.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

I don't doubt YOUR hair is easier to comb when wet and that it閳ユ獨 like a 閳ユ競rillo pad,閳?etc., but that's partly my point. Different people have DIFFERENT kinds of hair so they CHOOSE to do different things. So, it's not fair for you to assume EVERYBODY can and should wear natural styles like you. Report It

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

I think you are being rude to us black women asking this guestion?Well I got one for you why do white people like to straight there hair.We black women know what we like and go after it.Why do you people think yall hair is better than ours?

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

yeah, they change their names so they wont have the names of the white slave owners but at the same time spend hundreds of dollars a month to try to have white styled hair. I too am confused.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

Well you are asking a pivotal question...why do we like straight hair? Why do we like Blonde Blue Eyed women? Why do we divide ourselves by the way we look on the outside? Isn't it what's on the inside that counts? We are a biased society that is why.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

As a black woman, I have thick curly natural hair... and while it sounds like a good idea to wear cute afro puffs... I feel we just don't have the time to deal with all the mess of the thick hair... I tend to straighten mine, every few months to calm down the hair and make it easier to manage - My hair is very beautiful when it is not straight - I just want to get to work on time withoug having to wake up 4 hours earlier to maintain that "natural" look. Its just more convenient when its "tamed / relaxed"

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

some have hair too thin for that

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

well i mean everyone has different taste, i prefer getting a relaxer, i dont want to be bothered with washing my hair in a afro, it would probably take 5 hours to make sure its washed clean, it would be hard to comb out once im starting to dry it.and plus it looks more feminine to me and better, its not that we are tryin to have straight hair, i just get something that is appealing to me or that makes me feel happy and comfortable, when i was much younger, i would have to get my hair washed, and dried, combed out, and pressed, and that hurted me. It hurted my head and my feelings, i would cry, run and hide.It even got to a point when i knew i was gonna get it done. i would stay outside and play much longer, so when it was time to go home it would be too late to get all that crap done, so my mom finally gave in and gave me a relaxer, and not only that, but my sister use to burn my head when pressing it with the stove hot comb.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

Different people have different reasons for the styling choices they make. It's not as simple as saying all black women who straighten their hair don't consider natural black hair as beautiful as straight hair (I know this is not exactly what you said, but it's what your question implies). Therefore, I can only speak from my own experience.

I got my hair straightened because it was simply too thick for me to manage. It just could not fit in even two ponytails, and as I got older, my mother simply did not have the time to help me with it anymore (as it used to take me two hours to get ready for school every morning). And by the way, my hair was much more difficult to comb through when it was wet. I used to cry when I had my hair washed because combing it out hurt so much.

Not every black woman's hair looks cute in afro puffs; we all have different textures. Some of the beautiful "natural" styles you're seeing nowadays are done in salons...and they are more expensive to maintain than getting my hair straightened every six weeks.

These are my reasons for relaxing my hair, and I'm sure that if other black women answer you, you will get a huge range of varying reasons for their styling choices.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

Afro puffs? That's hella shady

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

You have to be White and blond.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

cause some people actully care about there hair.

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

If you understand the work of a so called Black persons hair you would know that its not always perfect ringlet curls beyond 1 inch

Black girls straighten their hair. Why not cute afro puffs instead?

lol....Where's the white girl question? Make that your next posting.

THREE QUESTIONS for Hair Stylists?

For the hair stylists who have been in the industry for over two years, but haven't established a big clientele base yet -

(1) Out of 10 hair stylists, how many of them do you think are willing to do hair cuts at people's homes in the same neighborhoods as where they live?

(2) For the hair stylists who want to do the home hair cut, how much at the minimum do you think they want to make out of the each hair cut trip?

(3) For the hair stylists who don't want to do the home hair cut, what would be the reasons?

Thanks for your honest reply!

THREE QUESTIONS for Hair Stylists?

it's simply unprofessional sometimes. and most of the time, if the salon finds out, the stylist can be fired.

Update my haircut? male, age 26, hair supposedly "stuck in the 90's"?

So a co-worker said something about my hair being stuck in the 90's. So I figured I'd throw it out there for suggestions.

Here is basically my haircut, except my hair is wavy and has more volume. I use pomade right now if I want to have it under control:

http://images.askmen.com/fashion/trends/...

I don't have a photo of myself, but here's a pretty good match for face shape, nose, lips, and skin and hair color:

http://matildakay.com/images/harry.jpg

Also I have big ears. And some risk of white-boy-fro. Heh. I just figured that might be relevant to any short haircut recommendations.

Photos, links to photos would be awesome. Thanx :P

Update my haircut? male, age 26, hair supposedly "stuck in the 90's"?

Since I figure you're more comfortable with your hair longer, have a look at the following website: http://haircutsformen.org/buzz/pages/cut... . I really like the fourth one over on the top row. I think maybe the only thing that makes your hair seem "90s-ish" is that it's long in the back. If you keep it longer on top, and take the length off the back, you'll be able to update your style.

If you want a drastic change, then take a picture of a celebrity (ie. David Beckham, Brad Pitt, etc.) to the hair stylist and ask for what they have. You seem like an attractive man, you don't have to hide behind long hair!

Update my haircut? male, age 26, hair supposedly "stuck in the 90's"?

just go to a salon and tell them your problems with getting it cut short, etc. and they will know what to do to make it look good

I need advice on hair coloring?

what color should i dye hair?

i'm an asian, black hair brown eyes, medium long hair for a guy, and my face doesn't look cool but instead is a friendly kid-looking face...i have rather big eyes for an asian

so what color should i dye my hair? is brown good?

I need advice on hair coloring?

Be very careful coloring Asian hair...any hair that is truely black or very, very dark brown, when lightenend has a major tendancy to turn wierd orange and gold colors. When you take color out of dark hair it goes through many different shades of red and orange and usually needs to be toned. So you will end up an auburn brown instead of a nice neutral brown like you are probably looking for. I have never thought that color looks very nice against most skin tones, but I am especially not fond of it against Asian skin tones. Also, the regrowth will be hell to keep up on.

Instead why don't you get highlights. You can lift them a little higher than you would dare to lift the rest of your hair because it is only a few pieces around the face.

Your hairdresser can make them any color after that...I mean any color from the brown you are talking about to green...and the contrast between light and dark is very appealing.

Either way this is not something I would try at home. Or your next question will be how do I get the orange out of my hair....or....why didn't my hair turn out like the color on the box...

Goood LUck!!

I need advice on hair coloring?

hi , make it like fire. then you will be cute. I'm sure u are beautiful

I need advice on hair coloring?

suggest you take rackjack's advice sounds pretty much like the sort of thing I would advise, but why colour your hair, black hair is lovely, wish I had the skin tone to be able to dye my hair black!

I need advice on hair coloring?

Dark hair is really hard to dye, trust me, if your going to go for a lighter color you have to leave the dye in longer, and /or bleach it first, then dye it. but same rules apply for bleaching dark hair. Personally , i think you should highlight it with a brown instead if coloring first. then you can see if you like the color in your hair before you completley dye it

I need advice on hair coloring?

I'm with rackjack. Whatever you decide to do, get it professionally done. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT do it at home, you'll end up with a mess and you'll be out a lot of money to get it professionally fixed.

I need advice on hair coloring?

put purple on the side green on the other side red in middle and pink in face lol joking la u put redish brown u should look nice

Letting my natural hair colour to grow out. What is the best option?

Hi! My hair was always my natural hair colour, a really nice medium brown colour until about 5 months ago when I decided to dye it black. When I dyed it I was immediately disgusted with the result and I washed my hair many many many times in a row and was able to strip out most of the dye. About a week later, my hair colour was a shade lighter than the original colour.. then I went through all summer out in the sun and my hair got even lighter.. now it looks extremely faded and gross and I know it's all because of that stupid dye-job I gave myself..

So I'm finally getting roots.. I have medium length hair.. I'd like to let my natural hair colour grow all the way out. What is the best option here? Should I just let it grow and have big roots (ew)? Should I cut my hair really short to get rid of all the faded, damaged hair and let it grow in from there? ...

Any suggestions or comments would be VERY MUCH appreciated!! I want my hair to look healthy again...

Letting my natural hair colour to grow out. What is the best option?

go to a salon and have them dye your hair back to as close to natural as possible but please don't try this yourself because you will be very dissappointed. this is the best solution with great results

Letting my natural hair colour to grow out. What is the best option?

You might want to consider a color gloss--you can either get it done at a salon or buy a kit at the drug store.

Basically, these are the low-ammonia/no peroxide variety of hair colors. Since they lack the ingredients that damage your hair they are far less damaging--they subsequently also have less "lift", meaning they won't strip your natural hair color.

Also, if you use it yourself I would suggest not dying your roots at all. If you get the right shade it should blend in a bit better than it is now.

Good luck!

Letting my natural hair colour to grow out. What is the best option?

just buy the same color as your roots....

and then eventually your hair will grow out with out those ugly roots...

Letting my natural hair colour to grow out. What is the best option?

Go and match your natural with a permanent colour . Redo colour than just let it grow. Loreal Creme is one of the best and adds shine too.

Please help my hair?

I have thick hair and frizzy too! I need big time help! I can't curl it or anything! It's so ugly!

Please help my hair?

I think you need to go to the hair dresser and have them press your hair down or you can buy a stove presser yourself and you could do it.........if really works....I have a black people hair(i'm black)...lol....and it gets all my napps and everything......you can ask any black woman about it....they'll tell you.......but after you get it pressed than for sure you can curl it.......try and go to a salon that has black hairstyleist cause most likely they'll have the irons......good luck

Please help my hair?

Try frizz ease it helps trust me! and if you just get out of the shower and you wanna scrunch it use gel (I like Aussie) and then spray Aussie Freeze on it.

Please help my hair?

Have you ever heared of a CHI ? Its a hair straitener... And let me tell you no matter how frizy your hair is it will straiten it! It is awesome! Oh but it is like 100$ But its so worth it.

Please help my hair?

try a maxi glide,, there pretty expensive, but i have heard that they work great on all hair try going to maxiglide.com or go buy a wide flatting iron, and use herbal essences dangerously straight, flat out finishing spray, i like that combo!

Please help my hair?

Does anyone know what I can put on my bi-racial daughters' hair to control the dryness and friz

My daughter is bi-racial. (black%26amp;white). Her hair is light brown with big loose curls. It is more like "white" hair with just enough of her father's texture to make it frizz and dry on the ends. It also tends to be more dry and frizzy in the very front (bangs). I need something that will not make her hair look heavy and greasy. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know what I can put on my bi-racial daughters' hair to control the dryness and frizz?

always use a moisture shampoo (Paul Mitchell's Moisture like works really well) and just use a light product like Paul Mitchells Round Trip (its a Liquid curl definer). You could also use PM's Heat Seal which is heat (blow dryer, smoothing iron, and curling iron) and humidity resistant which will cause it to frizz less.

Does anyone know what I can put on my bi-racial daughters' hair to control the dryness and frizz?

just a touch of coconut oil, it adds a great sent as well as controls the frizz.

Does anyone know what I can put on my bi-racial daughters' hair to control the dryness and frizz?

try and use the redken curl booster...apply on wet to damp hair in the most problem areas and finger comb....also try redken extreme for dry damaged hair in shampoo and conditioner.......do not brush or use small tooth comb...try and use large pick in shower while conditioner is in hair to make tangles less....good luck

Does anyone know what I can put on my bi-racial daughters' hair to control the dryness and frizz?

my grandson is bi-racial and we use a product called blue magic on his hair he has the like white hair but frizz in back this controls and makes great curl and control. you can buy this at kmart or any walgreens.

Does anyone know what I can put on my bi-racial daughters' hair to control the dryness and frizz?

Try products from the kids organics hair line. They work really good and I mean everything. The best product for your problem would be the Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion. It makes the hair soft and manageable while detangling at the same time. The less tangling, the less frizziness.

Ok so i am curlin my hair how to make them big curls?

You might try old-fashioned paper curls:

You just use a bigger mold when doing them.

Big curlers.

Where do they get these people...

Ok so i am curlin my hair how to make them big curls?

you need a large barrel curling iron. They sell irons from 3/4th of a inch to 2inches. Bigger barrel on the iron, bigger the curl.

Ok so i am curlin my hair how to make them big curls?

Roll wet hair freshly shampooed, with rinse on it,etc. with 2 fingers using 2 fingers. Don't take just a tiny bit of hair and wrap it flat around a finger with bobby pin on it all. The curls I mean stand up, stand out, and the (Big) hairpin pins in only the hair touching th scalp.Leave pins in till hair is ALL dried with them in. No hair dryers.

Best Curl... mousse, activator, spray, anything? How do I keep curly hair pretty?

I straighten my hair every other day,

and i'm getting sick of that.

I have naturally loose curly hair which is really pretty.

till it dries all the way, because it gets big and very frizzy.

:(

What do you people with pretty curly hair do to make it so soft and natural/frizz free looking? Products? Certain procedure to go at it?

I'm willing to spend up to 20 dollars on an actual product itself, and if i need anything else such as a diffuser or something tell mee.

Just one thing, i can't stand crunchy hair, or the wetlook. auu naturale for me. :)

sorry it's so long.

Best Curl... mousse, activator, spray, anything? How do I keep curly hair pretty?

Ahh...now I used to straighten my curly locks too...and then got fed up doing it....So I went and got a haircut, so that the dead ends would be gone caused by straightening it. They weren't too bad though. I also had it layered.

Then I now leave it to dry naturally, and I tie into a bun at night, and the following morning it falls down nicely. If it's a bit frizzy, then the serum (i.e Frizz Ease) I used to use to help straighten the hair is used. Just the tiniest bit rubbed between my hands and run my hands over my hair. All fizz is gone....

Hope this helps. xXx

Best Curl... mousse, activator, spray, anything? How do I keep curly hair pretty?

well if you aren't willing to have the wet hair look like what mouse will do to it, than maybe a spray wax of some kind. because your hair is so frizzy you may have just really bad split ends. herbal essences "breaks over" line works GREAT! i love it. i highly recommend it. and when your hair is about 70% dry, take sections of hair and twirl around fingers for about a minute each pieces, that will help the curl stay. spray with pantene texturize wax spray before twirling.

Best Curl... mousse, activator, spray, anything? How do I keep curly hair pretty?

Try Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Products for curly and wavy hair. My cousin uses them.

I have the same type of hair. I use Herbal Essences Totally Twisted shampoo and conditioner. Its only like $3-4 for each one. It really defines my curls and gives it body and its not as frizzy. This is what it looks like - http://herbalessences.com/us/collections...

Hope I helped =]

Best Curl... mousse, activator, spray, anything? How do I keep curly hair pretty?

i have naturaly wavy curly hair. I hate it when it gets frizzy also. I shampoo my hair every other day then i let it air dry for about 10 min. Then i take a comb and comb my hair out. Then i take Herbal Essences curl scrunching gel about a quartr size and scruch it in my hair. then i take a dime size amount of Big Sexy Hair conditioner and scrunch that in. (prevents frizzing) Then I blow dry my hair and while i do i scrunch my hair in my othr hand. Hope i helped!

my eyes look like hers, I have thicker and darker eye browse, 20 pounds fatter than her that means I have bigger cheeks. and I also have a bigger nose, it's not big just biger than catherine's.

my hair length is just a little beyond my shoulders.

I have a naturally brown hair, I dyed my hair red last month but it didn't fit at all, I'm thinking about dark black now but I'm not sure, do you have any suggestions?

thanks in advance

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

Natural...if you were born with brown, most likely it matches your skin color. Besides, when the roots come, you'll look weird. And color damages hair.

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

Auburn.

Or black with auburn highlights.

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

go blonde

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

Brown

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

Blue !!!

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

darken those tresses !

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

If you really like red hair, then give a burgundy-red shade a try before you give up on it.

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

I think black would look good on you now, but not in the winter. Have you thought about a very, very deep chestnut brown. That would go great with your medium complexion without washing you out the way black would. You could even add some subtle copper or even auburn highlights.

If you are going to drastically change your color, then also remember your makeup too.

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

i don't think you should go black. i think it looks horrible. if anything do a dark brown

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

brown

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

Don't go black, b/c it'll make you appear to be pale. My skin is a lot like that too. I thought black hair would look exotic, but it just looked like I was some goth wanna-be. Try a really dark auburn color. It looks really dark brown, but when the light hits it, it has a beautiful red shimmer. That's what color I finally settled on, and it matches my skin well.

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

a blonde but it has to be dirty blonde or really light blonde

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

like redish brown

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

DON'T DO BLACK!!You can do dark dark brown but when you get into black you can NEVER get it out and if your hair is to your shoulders, you are looking at 1 1/2 yrs before the black is cut off and gone. Why don't you do it the same color as Catherine's? Check out magazines and take it to a professional who can help you, not hurt you. Always take pictures into show a hairstylist so they know what you are looking for.

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

try blue-black or any other dark color. Going for a light shade makes your skin tone look alot darker than it really is, unless thats the way you wanna look

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

go blonde it well match you color of skin

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

blonde

What hair color best fits my skin and face?

don't go black, that's harsh go dark brown or auburn.

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

I have pretty long hair, and this hair style would really look good on me (Obviously not this big and dramatically long, since this is all extensions, but i mean this idea) but i dont know what product tyo use to get this wavy texture?? Does anyone know any mousse or anything that gets your hair wavy? I have Garnier Fructis hard gel but it makes my waves really nice but as hard as rocks, which i hate. And if you have any tips on the top part and how to make it nice please help!

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

was that a drag queen???

my best answer though- large loose curls and tease tease tease.

curl the entire head then flip head up side down and spray with alot of hairspray. like catwalk or big sexy hair. then tease to get the body.

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

try bumble and bumble products, they work great.

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

If your hair isn't as long, you can just have a shorter version. just use a curling iron. But the trick is when you take a shower before curling it, just use shampoo. no condition. It can give it the better chunky look. Conditioner makes your hair finer and a lot softer and harder to do anything. Hope this helps!

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

if you have somewhat wavy hair then curl your hair and let it sit over night and it will be pretty and wavy (not curly) by the morning. thats what i do.

How can i get hair like this without the extensions?

You have to scrunch your hair with either mouse or some kind of gel/spray products.

If you want more defined waves, use Aussie Sprunch hair spray, or Garnier Fructis Scrunching spray. (but it will leave your hair a bit hard and crunchy, depending on how much you use.)

For looser curls, use a mouse such as Suave healthy curls, or VO5 Curvaceous curls styling mouse.

I have all of these products, so what I do is use all of them, so my hair isn't crunchy thanks to the mouse.

If you don't know how to scrunch your hair, check here:

Hope I helped. (:

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

everytime i have used the two mentioned above...i have been disappointed. what is the point of those things anyway?ok so they do remove hair thats above the surface (at times) but usually what lefts is prickly.and it doesnt really look all that pleasing either coz the hair follicles look way bigger and darker after using those products. is there anybody who uses these products and is happy abt it? also is there anyway to make the surface smooth after using those products?

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

Wax its much better...or shave .

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

I have never been able to get Nair to work, it also burns my skin. Waxing works best for me(although it does hurt more).

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

A lot of people get really bad chemical burns on their skin from using veet. These productus; Nair and Veet are used to remove hair for about a week at a time. It only removes the hair at the surface BUT it doesn't grow back nearly as fast. It was made for girls who hate using razors and often get shaving cuts. After you use one of these products you usually wish you would have just shaved your legs!

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

well i use veet, and for me it has prooved much better than shaving- it should dissolve away the "roots" of the hairs deeper under the skin; if its not doing that, maybe you're not leaving it on long enough? anyway, there are always other options, like laser hair removal or simple shaving. ask your esthetion if you need help. good luck!

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

I find I have a closer smoother shave if I use Nair/Veet AND an electric shaver.

But never just one or the other.

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

I honestly don't know but I have never had an ounce of luck with those products.

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

WORKS LIKE A CHARM 4 ME?

What is the point of veet or nair it never fully removes any hair!?

its better then shaving

Curly to wavy hair with little heat?

i have blonde curlyish wavy hair thats flat on top and then puffs out. i've been striahgtening it alot so the top layers is a bit damaged. i realy like wavy hair but could never understand how to get it with having to straighten my hair and then curl it with a big curling iron. I like to wear my hair sorta half up half down if you know what i mean with my side bangs out.

does anyone know how to get wavy hair without using too much heat? (a little is ok as long as i dont apply it too much to the top layer.)

it seems like my bottom layers are heathly, unlike my top layer. I use biosilk shampoo and conditioner and even paul mitchell strengthning conditioner. my top hair just doesnt want to soak up the conditioner =/

Curly to wavy hair with little heat?

Use scrunching gel to get waves without using heat. Or braid your hair into tight little braids.

Also you can still style your hair, but use a damage protection spray first. A good choice is Pantene. It costs about $6.00 and comes in a spray bottle. Basically you spray it on all over your hair and run your fingers through it before you style it. Use it before you blow dry, straighten or anything that applies heat to your hair. It will make your hair much less damaged.

Btw you should only put conditioner on the ends of your hair, never on the top, that's what my hairstylist told me :) Good luck :)

I asked this question on behalf of my sister. her nose is annoying her because it big?

her nose is very big. also she loss her hair .

I asked this question on behalf of my sister. her nose is annoying her because it big?

Whats your question?

I asked this question on behalf of my sister. her nose is annoying her because it big?

well outside of plastic surgery there's nothing she can do

I asked this question on behalf of my sister. her nose is annoying her because it big?

thats to bad.

I asked this question on behalf of my sister. her nose is annoying her because it big?

well, tell her that you have to think about the good things in your face and body. Then you will be much more confident. Show off those good things!!

Hair helppp :)?

okayyy... my hair is striaght/wavy and flat! I hate it... do you guys have any products or home remedies that i could do to make m hair look fuller %26amp; THICKER %26amp; bigger? Any ideas say ok? ANYTHING im like desperate over here :p thankss

Hair helppp :)?

If you dry your hair with a hair dryer then flip upside down and do it it will guive your more volume. If you let it dry naturally dont brush it, it will have more lift at the roots. Also try a voumizing shampoo and Paul Mitchell has a good root lifer(volume) Hope that helps!

How to you 'tease' hair?

I've heard this phrase alot with people with scene hair, they said it's how they make their hair go really spikey and big.

Thanks.

How to you 'tease' hair?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=aZ0PtX-cLfw%26amp;m...

This worked for me :)

How to you 'tease' hair?

its like ratting it. Take a section of hair and use a comb or pick, and go in a up and down motion quite a few times, it will help create some volume!

How to you 'tease' hair?

no.

ppl who tease their hair look like they have an aphro.

we use bed head.

it gives your hair oomph.

How to you 'tease' hair?

Tell it you want to make love, kiss it and say goodnight! That'll tease it LOL

How to you 'tease' hair?

I'm not really familiar with the phrase "tease" but

I do know how to style hair like that (my hair used to be

similar).

Well, a good way to make your hair big is by volumizing.

Buy some shampoo that specializes to volumize hair.

What also works is hairspray! The method I used was

to bend over and tilt my head a bit upside down, and just

spray all over. When you stand up straight again, style

your hair the way you want it to look. The hairspray should

plump up your hair and keep the style stable for 3-4 hours.

How to you 'tease' hair?

1. Begin by making sure that curly or wavy tresses are flat ironed or blow dried straight.

Avoid backcombing/teasing hair that has any natural texture without first straightening to prevent tangling.

2. If hair is flat ironed before it is backcombed, be sure that the strands are 100% cool before teasing. If not breakege will be more likely to occer.

3. Begin by using a soft natural bristle

brush to make sure that all knots and tangles are removed from all strands before backcombing.

Never backcomb strands that are not first detangled.

4. Using a rattail or metal comb or teasing brush, part off a section of hair from the rest of the strands. Clip the remaining hair out of the way.

5. Using your hands in conjunction with a comb, gather a small section of hair approximately 1-2 inches in thickness.

6. Hold the ends of the new section straight up and out from the scalp with one hand. You will be backcombing your strands in the opposite direction from its natural growth pattern

7. With the other hand, run the comb down the length of the hair from the end towards the base of the scalp in short, sharp strokes.

8. If you don't achieve enough teased hair or height then first time , repeat the process until the hair has the right fullness, height and texture.

9. Spray every newly teased sections with a firm hold hairspray.

10. Select a firm hairspray to completely spray all of the teased hair when the backcombing is complete.

11. Using both hands carefully smooth the teased hair back in the opposite direction making sure there is a lot of height in the desired area of the hair.

Once you get the hang of teasing your strands, you will be able to do it quickly and efficiently.

i got from a websight a long time a go so i changed a little bit of the words.

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

I'm losing maybe about 20 or more strands of hair everyday. 20 is a big number for me and my mom is always yelling at me because my hair is all over the house! I have never lost this much hair and this all started in the beginning of the school year. What do i do?

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

The average person loses between 60 and 80 hairs a day. Is your hair longer now than it has ever been in the past? If so, thats why it may seem like more. If its not the longest you've had it, then it could be a variety of things. Stress plays a major part in hair loss. Keep an eye on the amount of hair that you lose and if it doesn't slow down, a visit to the doctor may be a good idea, just to rule out anything medical.

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

I don't know if 20 strands a day is something you should be worried about. But if you think it is perhaps you should find the source of the problem. Maybe you are stressed about something. If you cannot figure out the source, maybe you should see a doctor.

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

ive heard you can loose up to 50 and still be ok ask your hairstylist

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

It is normal to lose between 50-100 hairs a day, this is part of the hair renewal process. However most people suffer from excessive hair loss at one time in their life. There are many reasons for this including medication, radiation, exposure to chemicals, hormonal and nutritional factors, generalized or local skin disease, and stress. Many of these causes are temporary and a few are permanent.

Your hair loss is normal and there's nothing to worry about :)

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

on an avg u lose about 50 to 100 strands of hair a day. if u feel ur hair loss is greater than that, then its advisable to have a good hot oil massage on ur scalp every week.

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

are u doing proper diet? u need carbo, if you don't have carbo, u will lose hair.

I'm losing hair and i don't know what to do...?

oh no!! use herbal products and natural products.

chemical products damage ur hair.

shampoo with a herbal shampoo

mix eggs with vrgin olive oil and leave in for 1 hr

always apply almond oil mix with castor oil on ur scalp

use natural aloe vera gel on ur hair

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

I am mixed with african american and asian.

My hair is about shoulder length now.

How long would it take me to grow my hair out to thick, tailbone length? How many years?

I have a regimen that I am following. Trims. Washing every AT LEAST once a week. Deep conditioning. Doing protein treatments. Massaging scalp w/oil. Low to no heat manipulation. Taking vitamins essential for healthy hair growth. Drinking 64 oz of water per day. Eating healthy. Exercising. Keeping hair in protective style, ie, big, thick plaits. etc. etc. So, with me properly taking care of my hair, how long do you think it will take to get to tailbone length?

Don't give dumb answers please.

Thanks in advance. =]

Any information given is greatly appreciated.

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

Hi I am a Afrro- Caribbean woman and It has taken me 5 years to grow my hair to the length of just past my back bra strap. In order for this to happen, I had to cut down on using relaxers, and almost stop heat styling it. along with all the stuff you incorporate in your regime

I recently found these two sites dedicated to us. and the health and maintainance of our hair. There are quite afew women, showing before and after photos, showing the progress.Take a look, you will be pleasantly suprised.

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

well, i am african american and have been growing my hair since birth. i am 22 now and all i have is this measly lower back lenght hair so who knows....

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

typically hair grows 1/2 inch per month. not much else you can do but be healthy, unless you know someone with prescription prenatal vitamins i've done hair for 11 years, that's the only thing i've found to speed it up.

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

ok ,if your hair isn't already thick then its not gonna get thicker .

make sure you dont wash ur hair too often ...

i would say about 2 -3 years your hair will grow that long , if its meant to be that long

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

hey; im mixed with native american umm i drastically cut my hair in the 9th grade to shoulder length and right now its past the mid section of my back almost to the tailbone and its been...about 4 yrs but i have gotten like 3-4 inches cut off every so often from then till now so i would guess about 2 depending on how fast it grows %26amp; how much you get cut everytime you go to the hair dresser

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

well I really have a big forhead and I have long blond hair but I really can't put up my hair because of my forehead, also I have thin hair so when I put my hair up I look bold on the sides!! I need help!! Please give me great advise!!

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

I honestly don't know how to minimize it without bangs. You don't have to go all out though. You could try the long side bangs that sweep across your forehead, and a side part. Good luck though. Oh, or wait... You could just not hide your forehead at all. Be proud of it. You're going to have it for a long time.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

Pull the front of your hair to the side. As to gvie it an illusion of bangs.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

You can't, not really.

Just celebrate your probable Celtic heritage, the one that's responsible for both your high forehead and your colouring.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

Why don't you want to try bangs? That's the answer. You can also part it on the side or 3/4 over to a side and have it cut in layers so that it's not flat.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

make a side part, like really to the side. so it could kind of swoop over your forehead if you put your hair behind your ears

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

wear a head band or a bandana

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

get bangs.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

Part your hair to the side, but not too much away from the center.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

OKay, go to a stylist, I used to have long hair, when it was braided was past my waist. Very thin, baby fine, I now have short hair, I use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner and it looks like I actually have hair with body. It no loonger just lays there. For the first time I like my hair.

Consider getting it cut shorter. And what is wrong with bangs, they are great, very versatile.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

part your hair over to the side as opposed to down the middle...or you could break down and part you hair over to the side and get side bangs...its what all the celebrities are doing.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

I would take a section in the front and pull it down to resemble bangs. About 2 or 3 inches back on both sides and in the front.

Then, you could add a headband or a scarf behind the section you pulled back and tie it underneath. That way, you will hide the spots where you pull your hair back, and you can add volume by applying product like mousse.

If you pull a larger section to make fake bangs, your hair will look like it has more volume, not just little strands.

I hope this helps!

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

I have the exact same thing. I had bangs most of my life- basically all the variations you can have- long, super short, side...

Recently, I just got my hair cut quite a bit (from my ribs to the tops of my shoulder), and it makes my face appear much shorter, and therefore my forehead smaller. (long hair makes your face look longer, as a rule)

So you can try this, or maybe a side part (doesn't help much), or bangs.

good luck

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

okay, well, you must be very intelligent, which is what high foreheads are said to signify. you might consider layering your hair and going with a shaggy/touseled look all over, and let some pieces fall forward a bit . this will also help camoflage the thin areas at the temples. find a good haircutter and spend a bit of time looking through their stlye books and discussing your concerns. highlights would also help draw attention up to your hair...

make sure you're getting a good diet, good food will help your hair. hair is, after all, made primarily of protein.

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

Part it at the side if you refuse to cut bangs or simply draw the bangs on your forehead with a magic marker which is what I highly recommend! If you do take my advice and use the marker, make sure you submit a pic! heh

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

leave your hair down more thank tying it up. volumize it a bit, maybe even curl. bangs are cute... so maybe you should think about that

I have a huge forehead, how can I hide it with my hair.. without bangs??

the best way i can think of is side swept bangs theyre not ugly, but stylish instead.

Hair loss - please please please help me?

I recently discovered a large balad patch, about an inch accross, on the base of my scalp. Most of it it starting to grow back, but very slowly %26amp; like stubble, there's still a small section not growing back. I've booked an appointment at the doctors as I believe its due to stress/depression.Or possible thryoid problems (I have a family history of it)

Basically I'm asking for ANY advice about what I can do to help it grow back, what treatments I should use,any supplements etc

Also I've bleached my hair since I was 14 (I'm now 19)%26amp;I was contemplating whether I should go back to my natural hair colour, as I don't want to weaken my hair futher. However after being blonde for so many years,it would be a big change for me,so I would prefer to still have it dyed slightly lighter than it is naturally (professionally) but I wonder if any dye will damage my hair?

Its very embarassing%26amp;I have to wear my hair up for work, so any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hair loss - please please please help me?

The area of hair loss...is it completely slick at the scalp or are there little bits of stubble? (not the new part growing back in) If it is slick, the hair has fallen out. If it is stubble, the hair has broken off. You are doing the right thing seeing a doctor. He/she can take a look and evaluate the situation properly. Hair loss in patches is called alopecia areata. Thyroid can indeed be a major factor in hair problems. Be sure to tell your physician. If it is breakage instead of alopecia my suggestion would be to stop the bleaching. There is the possibility of whats called "overlapping" of the bleach leading to breakage. Depending on how dark your natural hair is...there are other methods of keeping your hair lighter in color. Good luck.

Hair loss - please please please help me?

Your decision to see a doctor, go back to your natural hair colour are the best advise you can get. Rogaine is also made for women. Expensive but works for many. I hope you get better soon and that your stress levels lower. Have a great year and I wish you the best.

Hair loss - please please please help me?

i have recently lost some of my hair due to chemotherapy and i am very suprised about how quickly it is growing back due to a special shampoo/conditioner combination i use. it is called Nioxin. It's not too expensive...just 15 bucks for a bottle, but make sure you get the shampoo and condition because they react with eachother. i think this stuff works great...good luck!!

Hair loss - please please please help me?

The reason of hair loss in most cases is lack of Vitamin B12 in blood, try to take a proper regime that contains it, if its so serious u can support by using special pills or ... ! But I offer you to visit the Doctor...

Wish it works Dear :)

Hair loss - please please please help me?

Hair loss and thinning hair have been sensitive issues for men throughout time. Recently, medical science has eventually identified the main cause of hair loss. At present, it's a known medical fact that hair loss stems from both genetic and hormonal causes. Androgenetic Alopecia or even "male pattern hair loss" is implicated in ninety five percent of hair loss cases. The key is a hormonal byproduct called DHT (dihydrotestostrone). The even more DHT that gets put into your body, the even more your hair follicles turn into thinner and finer until the hair is permanently wasted.

DHT and hair loss

DHT is 1 of many male hormones in the body. DHT is developmentally vital early in a man閳ユ獨 life; however, it appears to be a cause of hair loss as men get older. DHT shrinks the hair follicle until it no longer produces obvious hair.

Doctors believe that excess DHT is an apparent cause of hair loss The causes of hair loss aren't well defined; however, researchers have uncovered that men with male pattern hair loss have increased levels of DHT in the balding area of their scalps. Individual hair usually follows a cycle of expansion, falling out, and new expansion. However increased levels of DHT are believed to contribute to the shortening of the expansion phase and a shortening of the time it takes for the hair to fall out. This results in thinning of the hair on the scalp.

Provillus blocks DHT (dihydrotestostrone) from getting to your body, which is 1 of the major causes of hair loss. The Breakthrough formula of Provillus was designed to block DHT and supply the proper foods to your body specifically tailored to block hair loss and to help you regrow hair naturally. Strong, sound hair begins with the proper nutritional building blocks. You do not have to hold off until there's a problem to end it! Provillus supplements your body's natural supply of these vitamins and lets the tiny follicles below your scalp receive exactly what they want to manufacture beautiful, full-bodied hair.

Hair loss - please please please help me?

It's a good idea to go see your doctor because patchy hair loss can be from an underlying disease or infection. My case is a typical male pattern baldness (MPB) that began in my early 20's.

Unfortunately, MPB is genetics and there's not much that can be done to stop it. But it can be slowed down. I used different products to do so beginning with Nioxin. Then I upgraded to minoxidil (same as Rogaine, but cheaper), now I'm using Hairobics. They all work, just depends on what your comfortable with.

Watch this Dateline NBC video. It reviewed 5 products and the results are encouraging. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6590766

well you have light skin.. if you had a tan it would loook good. but if you color it dark brown it could make you look washed out. and pale.

Should i dye my hair dark?

No, leave it how it is or go lighter, cause if your pale, really dark hair makes you look like a ghost. Which isnt very attractive.

How am I supposed to brush my curly hair?

I've heard that brushing curly hair makes it frizzy and damaged and it's true. So, then I started combing my hair in the shower since it's easier to comb through because of the conditioner. But, when I do that, a lot of my hair falls out. I'm losing so much hair. If I don't brush my hair at all it gets way too big. What should I do ...? Thanks for your answers ...

How am I supposed to brush my curly hair?

Its perfectly normal to loose hair, you could be at the end of your hair growth cycle, so it looks as though you are loosing more. You should only use a wide toothed comb on really curly hair otherwise it will go frizzy.

How am I supposed to brush my curly hair?

Comb it with a wide tooth comb with conditioner in the hair. Use products designed for curly hair. (Aveda has an entire Be Curly line that is incredible) Use a diffuser on your blowdryer or air dry.

How am I supposed to brush my curly hair?

Don閳ユ獩 worry about all the hair that you see when you brush ur hair/ EVERYONE sheds hair. If someone has straight hair, their hair just falls out. But for us curly people, all the hair that naturally falls out, gets trapped on our head because of our curls! So when your brushing ur hair in the shower, its ok if a lot comes out. Its better if you use a wide toothed comb or ur fingers when brushing curly hair, and YES its good to do it only in the shower, otherwise u get frizz.

So comb out the tangles in the shower, and then you should probably put on some product after, so your hair doesn閳ユ獩 get tangly through out the day. I use Sunsilk Antifrizz cr鐚玬e, or Pantene mousse. Both work very well and u can buy em at Rite Aid.

How am I supposed to brush my curly hair?

It is normal to lose 100 hairs a day. Yours are just falling out in the shower. Try finger combing.

- Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now well defined and healthy. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life! But if this is completely uninteresting to you, disregard.

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blow dryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a micro fiber hair turban/old t-shirts (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).

- The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygienic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sulfates). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones (avoid these- ingredients will end in -xane, -conol, or -cone). Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Dry it gently by scrunching with paper towels or t-shirts- not towels. Then let your hair air dry or use a blow dryer with a diffuser.

- Use a cheap, silicone free conditioner to scrub your scalp such as Suave naturals or Vo5. Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner (salon) or Nature's gate\Desert Essences conditioners (health food stores) for your hair. I recommend using a gel (LA Looks, Herbal Essences, La Bella) over a leave in (L閳ユ┉real Out of Bed Instant Texturizer). Experiment with whatever products you wish, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites.

- You may be able to get away with some silicones (such as amodimethicone) if you clarify with a sulfate free shampoo. Try Devacurl no-poo (salon) or Cream of Nature (drug store). Feel free to find your own but always check the ingredients for sodium/ammonium lauryl/laureth sulfate.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least visit the websites. Naturally curly hair can be beautiful! I hope you consider this- email me if you have any questions!

So i'm going to get myhair cut...I dont want to get it cut too short..I want it to be long...But I want to do something fun and exciting..that would look good for thin hair. I love lots of layers. Any ideas?!

I need volume and something easy to style!

Any one have any idea on hair styles for this?

I'm going to my friends homecoming with her, and her homecoming isnt as formal.. with dresses and whatnot, but I do want my hair done, but nothing to BIG.. and yeah..

what I want is my hair.. down, with curls?

something pretty easy. anyone have pictures or something I could look at to tell her how to do my hair?

thanks!

Any one have any idea on hair styles for this?

It's hard to say without knowing what your face looks like and the type of hair you have. Why don't you buy a hairstyle magazine (there are a number of them). I'm sure you could find something you like and then discuss it with your hairstylist. Have fun at the homecoming! I'm sure you'll look nice, whatever you choose.

My Friend's New Scene Hair? :S?

My friends just had her hair cut. She was after a big scene side fringe and lots of short layers. But she ended up with a gorgeous fringe and layers, and REALLY REALLY thin hair at the bottom, and her hair used to be gorgeus and thick and long. And now its short and thin and she's crying 'cause she jates it. :S Does anyone have any ideas of what i could suggest she do? and some pictures of beautiful scene hair cuts which are short and thin at the bottom would be great too. :] Annndd.dd.. would blonde extensions go with brown hair, because she has some blondies and wants to know if they'd look ok, because theyd make her hair longer and thicker. :) Thanksss xxx:] LY

My Friend's New Scene Hair? :S?

Put Some Extensions in =]

My Friend's New Scene Hair? :S?

blonde extensions would most deffinetly give her the scene look, if that's what she wanted.

but if she wanted a more normal style, buy some brown ones.

Keep straight hair...?

I have really frizzy and curly hair. It is more frizzy than normal because I died it at home and then fried it with a straight iron. I had my friend who is a hair dresser take the alful color out and cut all my dead ends out. she gave me a cute cut but my hair is so frizzy I don't know what to do with it. I like my hair to be wavy or straight but I don't know how to without killing it. I have a really good straight iron but I don't know what I should use on my hair to protect it. I don't like to wear my hair curly because it looks like a big mess. What should I do and what should I use. Please help. i don't want to kill my hair again. Thank you

Keep straight hair...?

I you wanna use a straightenin iron then put heat protection spray on it or if not get it chemically straightened at your hair salon or you can buy a kit from boots.

Keep straight hair...?

got milk

Keep straight hair...?

Try Garnier Fructis sleek and shine or the one for curls. I think its the green one. Good Luck. I use both.

Keep straight hair...?

use a thermal iron protectant...loreal makes a good one and u can get it at sally's...then use ur flat iron

Keep straight hair...?

Again, I would go to Sally Beauty supply and go to the Ethnic section as they carry some wonderful anti-frizz products and conditioners. Stop fighting the curly look for a while and give your hair a break. The heat is just drying your hair out....sounds like you need some conditioning treatments.

(I'm growing my hair out, and it's a BIG pain) Can anyone tell me what products I need to get my hair like this? EXACT directions/tips/etc.? Any links/pictures that can show me exactly how to do it? it looks kinda like it but i hope it helps!

How Can I Get My Hair Like This? (Pictures Included) PLEASE READ...?

I don't know if your hair it's straight or not but if it's not then you need to get it straighten out and use a thick curly iron and curl the ends. You can use hair spray to keep them from getting messed up. If you have straight her then you need to blow dry it to give it volume and use the same thick curly iron to curl the ends slightly however you might need to use a lot of hair spray if your hair is very straight. Good luck!

How Can I Get My Hair Like This? (Pictures Included) PLEASE READ...?

Use a curling iron, depending on how thick u want your curls. Start by plugging in the curling Iron first lol! Next, u will want to spray the hair with something like water, to keep the iron from burning the hair! Clamp the curling iron at the top, pull the iron all the way down to the end slowly... Now u want to twist the hair around the iron. Depending on how high up u want your curls, hold for about 2-3 seconds, and use the clamp release and drag the curling iron directly downward, keep the iron tip pointing upward, but pull down, and release the hair... Repeat until whole head is done!

I really really want curly hair; should i get a perm, or body wave?

I have straight hair, but i really want either big loose curls, or wavy hair.

I don't know if i should get a perm or a body wave! I have know clue what either one of them will turn out like!

could yall please send me pictures of what either one of them look like!

I really really want curly hair; should i get a perm, or body wave?

Get some pictures of what you want, and go talk to your hair dresser. I think perms are the way to go for you, but your hairdresser can give you a better idea just what each process will do for your hair.

My sister had very straight hair, and her first perms were sort of . . . poodle-like. I don't know if that's what you are going for -- but you should talk to whoever is doing it for you.

If you are doing it for yourself, you just have to trust the pictures on the box, I think. But it'd be best to have it done professionally the first time. You can ask questions, and pick up tips for if you want to do it at home.

Good luck and happy hair!

I really really want curly hair; should i get a perm, or body wave?

omg go outside and find a long stick and than bring it inside and heat your oven up to 350 and put the stick in there and wait 15 minutes than get it out and get a little piece of your hair and roll it up on the stick and wait 5 minutes than take it out and put the stick back in the oven for fiteen minutes than keep repeating all the steps until all your hair is curled up

I really really want curly hair; should i get a perm, or body wave?

Perms work really well.

I really really want curly hair; should i get a perm, or body wave?

Remember when you get a perm your hair will swell three times it's normal size. So, you feel like you have more hair.

Get a Professional to show you how to care for your new style.Go with big body curls to start out, and don't over process your hair, trying to keep a curl in your hair.Let it rest

and be conditioned in between times.Get a trim every month.

Curl Rocks when you can control it.

I really really want curly hair; should i get a perm, or body wave?

Hi.

Here's an excellent example of a perm; http://www.sedu-hairstyle.net/thumbnails...

And here's a beautiful picture of a body wave; http://www.studiohair.net/Studio%20Human...

Body waves are designed to provide gorgeous waves and volume, while perms are used to create soft curls and ringlets. If you have a circle face you may want a perm, if you have an oval or heart shaped face you may want a body wave. If you have an oblong face, ask your stylist what may suit you.

Also consider the following:

Consider alternate treatments and techniques. Consider using a curling iron. If you want to add wave to your hair, add minor curls, or major curls, experiment with a scrunched look, or even just temporarily straighten your hair, there are many ways to do this without the fuss, bother and danger of a full perm. You can even turn your curly hair into wavy hair without a perm.

Consider a haircut. Your hairstyle has a great influence on the final look of your perm. Big curls in short hair may not look that good, for example. Always consider your hair style before considering a perm as some perm treatments are better for different styles of hair.

What's important is that you're happy with you're hair, the most beautiful thing is confidence that you are strikingly gorgeous. Hope this helps and good luck! =]

My hair.....is homo.?

k, so...i have ver flat, thin, stick straight hair but i need it to have VOLUME!

ive tryed everything. mouse it then blow dry upside down(that last about 5 seconds)

putting it in a poney tail on top of my head when hair is damp and sleeping with it over night(last about ummm...30min if i hairspray it)

curling it(last untill i go out side and the fog makes it flat)

curling the roots of my hair( same as the other)

teasing it(falls out after about a hour with hairspray)

perms(make me look like a poodle)

what do i do???????? i whant big hair!

My hair.....is homo.?

I'm sorry but your just going to have to live with it. Or you could try a wig.

My hair.....is homo.?

I could give you some of mine I have way too much volume. But other than that I seriously don't know what else to do. Maybe going to the hairstylist and having them do a hair style that will give the illusion of thick hair. I have seen it work.

My hair.....is homo.?

You could try hair extensions... or you could go to a salon and explain your situation and what you want then let them show you how you can get volume. It would cost money but it could be worth it.

Who flippin cares if brown eyes and hair are boring!!! If you look at tons of models, their hair and eyes are brown, and no one cares! Sure, it would be nice to have green eyes or blonde hair or something, but that's not the point. It shouldn't matter with your friends, and if your crush or someone that you hate said that brown eyes and hair is boring, forget them, they're not worth it.

Does anyone know a type of shampoo I could find in any CVS store that would make my hair straight?

I have curly hair. The curls are really big and round, which would be nice if I had long hair, but I have a short, layered cut, so the best look is with straight hair. All the straightening I do is very damaging to my hair, and I wouldn't have to do it as much if I had even just a little straight hair. Please help me!! I wake up at 5:45 in the morning just to do my hair!

shampoo will not make your hair straight...buy a good conditoner and a flattening iron

Does anyone know a type of shampoo I could find in any CVS store that would make my hair straight?

You'll have to look around. There are a lot of shampoos that are meant to help you achieve straight hair. Frizease makes one. Just remember that you still have to blow dry it straight. The shampoo will not do it alone.

Does anyone know a type of shampoo I could find in any CVS store that would make my hair straight?

I don't know if CVS has it but I know Walgreens does.It is called Sunsilk. You can get shampoo conditioner or styling gel. They make it for hair that is frizzy, straight hair and several problems.I use it myself it is great.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

Hair loss please help........?

I remember when I watched an informative, reliable television show in Japan, they said balding people think washing your hair often or for too long or too hard improves your hair growth. But in fact it makes hair fall off more.

Hair loss please help........?

hai friend,

first of all accept wat u are %26amp; love urself.....dont bother about others.....

i give some tips 2 control hair loss.....make use of it..

Hair loss and treatment:

Having a good diet giving the body vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants in the right amount may slow down the speed of hair loss.

There exists pharmacological products on the market that can help against hair loss, but usually not 100% effectively. Medicines used to treat prostate hypertrophy also have been proven to stop hair loss and to get hair to regain, because these drugs block the substance DHT. Propecia is a prescription bound drug to take by mouth based on an original prostate medicine.

Rogain is a topical drug to apply 2-3 times each day that does not block the DHT, but stimulates the hair follicles cells to proliferate better.

There are many natural products on the market to help against hair loss. These products often contain several substances working together by different principles.

They may contain vitamins or minerals that are necessary for hair growth. Other ingredients give signal to the cells in the hair follicles to accelerate growth, for example procyanidin B2. Other natural compounds block oxidative attacks on the follicle constituents, like L-arginine.

Natural blockers of the DHT are also used in natural products, like saw palmetto extract containing constituents that gives more or less the same effect as Rogain.

Still other ingredients can hinder much of the conversion of testosterone to DHT. Green tea extract contain these kinds of effectors.

Surgery is an effective treatment against baldness. By surgery hair follicles from parts of the scull immune to DHT are moved to bold areas. The hair in the treated areas will however not get as tight as naturally growing hair.

It is also possible to implant artificial hair into the scalp. By this method, large bald areas can be covered, but the treatment implies a certain danger for infection, and requires good hair hygiene afterwards.

Try and remember to talk to your doc about it next time you're there. Have some blood tests done.

Maybe it's just a vitamin deficiency, but you don't want to go taking a whole bunch of supplements until you know what your bodies lacking or you could be taking all the wrong stuff and doing more harm than good.

Hair loss please help........?

I am 31 y/o and I've experienced the same thing. After trying many different products specifically formulated for thin/thinning hair ---from natural stuff at Whole Foods to expensive European made brands --- this is what I have found to work for me and show great improvement (but consistency and maintenance is key!) ...

-Get enough protein every day (minimum 90 grams) -- from salmon, chicken, eggs (if you like them), lean cuts of beef and pork.

-Omega 3-6-9 fatty acids -- recommend a supplement (good quality one like Nordic Naturals at Whole Foods), and eat salmon and dry-roasted (no oil) nuts like almonds (Blue Diamond brand with sea salt) -again every day.

-mega multivitamin (I find one of these daily works better than specific hair/nail/skin vitamins). I take one daily plus one Appearex tablet (which is pharmaceutical grade Biotin). This works!!!! It is sold over the counter at Wal-Mart ... it is marketed to improve nail strength, but it does the same for your hair.

-for hair products: the Nioxin brand. I experimented with several other more expensive brands but they left my hair feeling dry and more prone to tearing.

-scalp massage at least 2 x a week --- each time I shampoo with Nioxin cleanser (shampoo) because it removes product residue and removes DHT build-up. Also, the scalp massage 2 x a week with a special hair oil. I use Weleda (green box) at Whole Foods (can also buy online), and just a few drops and massage firmly and thoroughly with the pads of my fingers all over the scalp, before shampooing hair.

***Definitely excellent nutrition (protein, good fats, multivitamin, Biotin), regular and thorough scalp massage, and Nioxin hair products*** This works for me and I've spent much money trying stuff out. Give it at least 3 to 6 months to notice a significant difference.

Hope this helps you!

You can try taking some prenatal vitamins, or just some hair and nail vitamins (which can be found over the counter at any pharmacy). You can also ask your doctor about some types of lotions that may help the psoriasis on your scalp some, so that your hair may grow better, i know some Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall hope it helps
